What do I specialize in writing? BIONICLE!!! Lego's hot new toy that's been out for three years!!! Now you see, while the toys interest me, what really pulled me(and others), was the complex, imaginative storyline. An age old concept that Lego has now just discovered. Bionicle is the story of six(seven) elemental heroes, the Toa. Trying to defeat the toa is Makuta, an Evil Spirit trying to take over the island. To do this, he made his brother fall asleep, then cast the island of Mata Nui(Which is also his Bro's name) into a dark shadow...
Days after the toa have defeated Makuta, a new threat comes on scene. Six Bohrok swarms guided by two Bahrag, queens of the swarms. Powerful and relentless... The toa were almost brought down to their knees, even with the use of the powerful Exo-Armor, the Exo-Toa. In a final ditch attempt to defeat the Bahrag, the Toa combined their elemental energies, creating a powerful protodermis cage...And something more. The released powers plunged the toa into tubes filled to the brim with protodermis. This changed them, increased their power. There was no more Toa. It was truly the end of the Toa. They now were the TOA NUVA!
While they had time to rest, the Toa Nuva went seperate ways. Blinded by power, they no longer thought they needed teamwork. Then, six Bohrok-Kal arised from the underground. They stole the Toa Nuva's symbols, the source of their awesome powers. The Toa Nuva were easily crushed without them.... Once the Bohrok-Kal were about to set the symbols on the Nuva Cube and realease the Bahrag, time suddenly stopped for them. Tahu Nuva had unleased the Toa Nuva's trump card: The Vahi, Great Mask of Time. But the Bohrok-Kal's Krana-Kal had turned silver, protecting them from harm. But Gali Nuva had a plan. All the Toa Nuva gave their powers to the Bohrok-Kal, overloading them with absolute power. The Toa Nuva then reclaimed their symbols. And their powers. Victory was their's once more.
Soon the Toa Nuva encounter more enemies and friends. The evil Rahkshi, sons of Makuta. The mystical Takanuva, Toa (Nuva) of Light. What else awaits them? Only time, and Lego, will tell.

Krana (Kal): These creatures control the Bohrok and Bohrok-Kal.
Great Masks(Nuva and not Nuva): Worn by the Toa and Toa Nuva. Each has a mystical power.
Noble Masks: Powerful, but not as strong as the Great Masks.
